We've been very lucky to get a front row seat for the evolution of J. Carter and his musical output or should we say had one, since the Nashville native spread his wings and moved to NYC awhile ago now, even so he will always be a local artist in our eyes. While he may have started his experimental works with noise and feedback loops those sonic devices have now been transfigured into spacious tracks filled with longing and nostalgia, introspection and gnosis, poetry and beauty, yet all the while grounded with a knowledge of where one is ultimately going in life.
